The Twinguard smoke detector not only warns you in case of fire, but also constantly monitors the indoor air quality in your home. Twinguard is a new member of the Bosch Smart Home System offering reliable protection - both in case of fire and burglary. Combined with other intelligent smoke detectors and Twinguards, it sounds the alarm and activates the smart cameras in the Bosch Smart Home. You are therefore always informed of what is going on in your home – even when you are not there.

Professional smoke detection

Thanks to unique Bosch dual ray technology the smart smoke detector provides maximum fire safety and sounds an unobtrusive advance alarm as soon as smoke develops. This lets you react immediately and take action if necessary.

Optimum room climate

Twinguard continuously monitors air quality, temperature and relative humidity and thus promotes healthier living. You can also activate an automation option that sends you a push notification when values leave the optimum range.

Smart system

By integrating it into the Bosch Smart Home System, the intelligent smoke detector offers now even more functions and benefits. For you, the main bonus is extra protection in the event of an emergency – both in case of fire and burglary. In addition, you can easily read the constant air quality monitoring values in the Bosch Smart Home App.

Smart forwarding to connected smoke detectors everywhere in your home

Stay on the safe side: as soon as a Twinguard detects smoke, it passes on a signal to all connected smoke detectors and Twinguards in your home. An alarm is immediately sounded on all smoke detectors. Even if you are in the cellar, you will still hear the alarm when the oil in the frying pan overheats in the kitchen so you can take action faster.

Always informed of the situation at home

When smoke occurs, your smart Twinguard smoke detector not only activates the advanced warning, but all the indoor and outdoor cameras connected to the system as well. They begin recording and send live images directly to your smartphone to keep you best informed about what is going on in your home.

Scare off potential burglars

Add the Twinguard to your alarm system for comprehensive burglary protection. Door/window Contacts or Motion Detectors pick up intruders trying to enter your home. The siren of the Smoke Detector immediately raises the alarm and passes it onto all connected Smoke Detectors in your home. At the same time, the integrated Philips Hue lamps start to flash red. Scared off by acoustic and optical alarm signals the intruder flees – and the burglary is foiled.

Always perfect air quality

The Twinguard helps you to create the atmosphere that you feel comfortable in. It continuously measures the constituents of the air in your room and notifies you when it deviates from the values that you have defined as optimum. Is the indoor climate in the children's room too stuffy at the moment? Flashing Philips Hue lamps in the living room draw your attention to this.

How it works

Ensuring good air in the room - all values at a glance

The Twinguard keeps an eye on the air quality: It continuously measures the most important air values of temperature, humidity and air purity in the room. You can read these values easily in the Bosch Smart Home App. If you wish, the app can also send you a push message when it's time to ventilate again.

Recognize yourself when to ventilate best

Do not let bad room air arise at all: The app shows you the air quality throughout the day. You can see for yourself when the values leave the optimum green range and ventilate as a precaution. Over time, you will develop a better and better feeling for your air quality.
