What to do if the universal switch / universal switch flex is not found or can not be integrated in my Bosch Smart Home system?
If the universal switch / universal switch flex cannot be integrated, please follow these steps: 1. Perform the installation again. Please check whether the device has already been detected. You can check this in the menu items "Devices". If necessary, remove it in advance. 2. Please check if the batteries are inserted correctly. What do the light combinations on the universal switch / universal switch Flex (blinking codes) mean?

What is a universal switch / universal switch Flex and what can it do?
The Bosch Smart Home Universal Switch provides you with flexible control of your Smart Home System. You can trigger up to four scenarios at the push of a button. The Universal Switch Flex gives you a portable alternative to your smartphone. The discreet switches can be programmed with up to four scenarios of your choice with no need for your smartphone or tablet. Assign daily routines into one scenario to simplify repetitive tasks. Mount the Universal Switch by your front door and trigger the 'Leaving Home' scenario at the push of a button. What functions does the Universal Switch / Universal Switch Flex provide (what can it do)?
Our universal switches come with a 4-fold assignable push button (standard on the market is a 2-fold push button). This allows a comfortable operation of the Smart Home, as an alternative to the Smartphone for everyone, even house residents without a Smartphone (children / elderly people). Own scenarios (e.g. Coming Home / Leaving Home) can be assigned to the buttons. All Bosch Smart Home products are integrated into the Scenario Manager and are therefore accessible via the universal switches. Scenarios can be preconfigured or individually created and assigned to the switch. The switching of services or an individual product can also be assigned directly to the universal switch. For example, the alarm system or the alarm service can be activated / deactivated or the light can be switched on / off (Philips Hue).
How do I reset the Universal Switch or the Universal Switch Flex to the factory settings?
To reset the Universal Switch or the Universal Switch Flex to the factory settings, please proceed as follows: 1. Remove the batteries. 2. While inserting the batteries, press and hold the button in the middle of the switch until the LED of the universal switch flashes quickly in orange. 3.
