Do you want a home that reacts automatically when you come home? When you park your car in the driveway after a long day at work, your lights switch on automatically and your Bosch thermostat is activated at the same time, ensuring a pleasant temperature. The magic word: geofencing.

The extended geofencing automations of the Apple HomeKit® trigger a desired action or scene as soon as you enter or leave an individually defined area. This way, your Smart Home takes care of processes even more independently.

In addition, the Apple Home App is also available for Mac to control the Smart Home on a real desktop computer – this is particularly useful when you are working from home. How to protect your data

With Apple HomeKit® data security is also a top priority: If you only use your Smart Home System with Apple HomeKit® at home, your data is stored locally on the devices.

You can also control your Smart Home safely when you are on the road: With remote access via iCloud, the end-to-end encryption between iPhone and Smart Home Controller guarantees the security of your data. Remote access is made possible by a hub in form of a HomePod, iPad or Apple TV.

It is up to you to decide whether you want to access your Smart Home System when you are on the road or whether you prefer your Apple HomeKit® devices to only communicate with each other locally.
