How can I control several lamps in a room together (Philips Hue, room lighting control)?
As soon as you have assigned several lamps to a room, you can control them via the so-called room light control. You can then store the automatically stored room lighting control in your Favourites using "+" and switch all the lamps in the room together with one click.
Why are some features of the Philips App not available for the Smart Home App?
The Bosch Smart Home App lets you control the basic functions of the Philips Hue. These currently include on/off switching, color selection and brightness dimming. Special lighting functionalities will still only be selectable with the Philips Hue app. In order to be able to select these, it is possible to jump directly from the Smart Home App to the Philips Hue App at defined points.
Which Philips Hue products can I integrate with my Bosch Smart Home System?
All lamps (indoor and outdoor, bulbs, light strips, etc.) that are part of the Philips Hue system are supported by the Bosch Smart Home App. More information can be found on our Philips Hue partner site: Link. The following Hue devices cannot be integrated: Hue switches, Hue taps, Hue motion detectors etc. as well as switches, plugs, motion detectors etc. from third parties.

Why do I need the Philips Hue as well as the Smart Home app to control my Hue lamps (installation, integration)?
To add new lamps to your Philips Hue system, or to your Bosch Smart Home System, you need the Philips Hue App. After successful integration into the Philips Hue App, you can then easily integrate the new lamps into your Bosch Smart Home System.
Can I connect multiple bridges to one smart home controller (Philips Hue lamps)?
Yes, that's possible. Then 50 lamps can be controlled per bridge. Which lamp is connected to which bridge is then irrelevant for the Bosch Smart Home System.

How do Philips Hue lamps behave in the event of a smoke alarm from the smoke alarm or Twinguard?
In the event of a smoke alarm, the Philips Hue lamps will illuminate as follows: Philips Hue Color lamps: the lamps switch to yellow and glow continuously. The colour can also be perceived as green-yellow or even green, depending on the colour perception and environment. Philips Hue White lamps: the lamps switch to 20% of their possible brightness and glow permanently.
How do I integrate Philips Hue into the Bosch Smart Home System (Philips Hue lamps, room lighting control)?
First install the Philips Hue Bridge and then all the lamps you want to integrate into your smart home network using the Philips Hue App. You can find this in the appropriate App Store. Then open the Bosch Smart Home App and select "Add" and "New device". Under "Manual" you will find the Philips Hue Bridge. The app will then guide you through the simple connection process. Can I switch several lamps on and off (Philips Hue, room lighting control)?
Once you have assigned one or more lamps to a room, you can select the room lighting control under "Add Favourites" on your Favourites screen. This allows you to turn all the lamps in a room on and off.
Why is a Philips Hue lamp not displayed in the Bosch Smart Home App (installation, integration)?
Please ensure that you have already successfully integrated the lamp with the help of the Philips Hue app. Then add the lamp to your "My home" with "Add device", "Add new device", "Manual" and "Philips Hue lamps". Please ensure that the lamp is supplied with power. If you are unable to integrate a lamp into your Philips Hue App, please contact the Philips Hue Support. Always connect new lamps to your Hue Bridge first using your Philips Hue app. Then you can find the lamps under "Already installed devices".
I can no longer turn on a lamp using the app. What can I do (Philips Hue, room lighting control)?
Please follow these steps: 1. Make sure that the lamps are always powered. If you turn off the lamps with your light switch, you will not be able to turn them on with your app because the power supply is interrupted. 2. Check if you can still control the lamps with the Hue App. If not, connect them again. If the problem persists, please contact Philips support. 3. If you can control the lamps with the Hue app, please check that your smart home controller and the Philips Bridge are connected to the same wireless router. If necessary, delete the Philips Hue Bridge from the device list and reconnect it. If the problem persists, please contact our free customer service.
