Open the Bosch Smart Camera app and select Audio+

You can start the subscription process for Audio+ from the Bosch Smart Camera app.

To subscribe to Audio+, proceed as follows:

Open the Bosch Smart Camera app on your smartphone or tablet.
Select Audio+ under “Subscriptions” in the camera settings.
Start the purchasing process by clicking on “Start now”.

Select a payment method and payment model

In the next step, you can select your preferred payment method. You can pay for your subscription using Apple Pay or Google Pay.

You can also choose from the following subscription models:

€1.99/month with monthly billing
€19.99/year with annual billing

The best thing: The first 14 days of your subscription are always free. After that, you can cancel your Audio+ subscription monthly.

Finalize your subscription via Apple or Google

As soon as you have selected your preferred payment method, click on "Subscribe to Audio+ now" and you will be taken straight to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. There, you can complete your Audio+ subscription.

Personalize Audio+ settings

In the next step, you can personalize the Audio+ settings for each of your second-generation indoor cameras before you complete your purchase by clicking on “Done”.

If you would like to change your Audio+ settings later on, proceed as follows: Select a specific indoor camera II from the app start screen, go to the device settings and change the settings for the selected camera.

Alerts you if a smoke alarm goes off, even if you are not at home

Conventional smoke alarms will only make a noise if they detect smoke in your home. If you are not at home at the time, you will not know that the alarm has gone off. An Eyes indoor camera II will ensure greater safety in your home: With an Audio+ subscription, the Eyes indoor camera II can detect certain alarm sounds from non-smart smoke alarms*. Thanks to intelligent audio analysis, the camera will start recording if it hears a smoke alarm and an audible and visual alarm will be triggered. You will also be alerted via a push message sent to your smartphone. As a result, you can act quickly and call the fire brigade for example.

Improved break-in protection

Wards off intruders even when you are not at home

Many intruders will break a window in order to gain access to your property. With Audio+, your Eyes indoor camera II will use intelligent audio analysis to detect the sound of windows breaking. As soon as suspicious noises are detected, the camera will start recording. You will also be alerted immediately via push message. In addition to warning you via the app, the camera also raises the alarm itself – audibly (75 dB siren) and with a red LED warning light. Ward off intruders effectively in the future!

Protection against carbon monoxide poisoning

Avoid accidents involving carbon monoxide at home

The number of fires in apartments and houses is increasing as a result of greater use of fireplaces, tea light ovens or alternative heating methods during the energy crisis. Many alternative heating methods are completely unsuitable for heating rooms over a long period of time. In addition to the fire risk, the risk of carbon monoxide accidents in the home also increases. An Eyes indoor camera II will ensure greater safety in your home: With an Audio+ subscription, the camera will use intelligent audio analysis to detect the alarm sounds of non-smart carbon monoxide detectors*. As soon as alarms are detected in the event of a CO leak, you will receive a push message and can take immediate action. Your Eyes indoor camera II will also raise the alarm on location.

Detection of smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector warning sounds cannot always be guaranteed.

Bosch Audio+ alarm detection is optimized for T3 and T4 alarm signal patterns. Please see the documentation accompanying your alarm and in particular check beforehand whether your alarm emits a T3 or T4 signal pattern.

Only after a successful test – e.g. by means of a test alarm – will you know whether the alarm signal pattern could actually be detected in an emergency.

However, the Bosch Eyes indoor camera II is not a certified fire alarm system, even with Audio+; it is simply a camera with potential to provide assistance through detection of acoustic signals from an alarm.
