### Compatibility of the Philips Hue Bridge Pro with the Bosch Smart Home System
#### Current Software Status
With software version 10.29 of the Smart Home Controller, the Philips Hue Bridge Pro is not yet compatible with the Bosch Smart Home System.
#### Recommendation
If you are already using a Philips Hue Bridge and have connected it to the Bosch Smart Home Controller, wait before switching to the Philips Hue Bridge Pro. This way, you can continue to control your Hue lamps via the Bosch Smart Home App as well as scenes and automations.
#### Future Compatibility
After updating your Smart Home Controller to version 10.30 (early October 2025), you will be able to connect the Philips Hue Bridge Pro as usual via the pairing assistant in the Smart Home App.
#### Important Note
The Philips Hue Bridge Pro will be treated as a new device in the Bosch Smart Home System.
When migrating your lights from the old Philips Hue Bridge to the new Philips Hue Bridge Pro, you will need to reconfigure the lights in scenes and automations.
If you are using a Bosch Smart Home Universal Switch to control your lights, you will also need to reconfigure the switch assignment.
If you have any further questions about compatibility and the integration of the Philips Hue Bridge Pro into your Bosch Smart Home System, please feel free to contact our
.### Problem: New Hue Bridge Pro is not displayed in the Bosch Smart Home App
#### Cause
After migrating the data from your Philips Hue Bridge to the new Hue Bridge Pro, you must set up the new bridge again in the Bosch Smart Home App. This is necessary because the system recognizes each bridge and the lights connected to it individually.
#### Steps to Resolve
1. Data Transfer
Make sure that the data transfer from the old Hue Bridge to the new Hue Bridge Pro has been successfully completed. Use the migration assistant in the Philips Hue App for this purpose.
2. Setup in the Bosch Smart Home App
- Open the Bosch Smart Home App.
- Go to "Add device".
- Select "Add new device".
- Select "Philips Hue Bridge".
- Make sure that the Hue Bridge Pro is powered on.
#### Important Notes
Reconfiguration Required: After migration, all scenarios, automations, and Smart Home universal switches that use Philips Hue lamps must be set up again.
Multiple Hue Bridges: Since the Bosch Smart Home System can operate multiple Philips Hue Bridges in parallel, it is important to correctly assign each bridge and the lights connected to it.
#### Summary
The new Hue Bridge Pro must be set up again in the Bosch Smart Home App after data migration. This ensures that all smart lights and scenarios are correctly recognized and assigned.
If you have questions about the migration assistant or general operation of the Philips Hue Bridge Pro, please contactPhilips Hue Support.
