Number of devices that can be connected to a room thermostat
A room thermostat can control up to6 devicesdirectly. This includes radiator thermostats or intermediate plugs. Here is the most important information about connection and control:
Connection options
Maximum number:You can pair up to 6 devices directly with a room thermostat.
Overview: On the device configuration page of the room thermostat, you will see an overview of all connected devices.
What happens with more than 6 devices?
Excess devices:Radiator thermostats that are not directly connected to the room thermostat regulate the temperature independently. They use their own temperature measurement.
Target temperature: The target temperature is still sent from the Smart Home Controller to all devices, so that devices that are not directly paired can also set the desired temperature.
Summary
A room thermostat can directly control up to 6 devices. The excess radiator thermostats are controlled as if there were no room thermostat in the corresponding room.
Battery life of the room thermostat
The batteries of the room thermostat have a typical lifespan of at least1 yearunder normal use. Here is the most important information about battery warning and replacement:
Low battery capacity warning
App notification: The Bosch Smart Home App informs you early when the battery capacity drops below a critical level.
