Bosch Smart Camera

The update includes new and optimized functions as well as bug fixes for an even better experience with the Bosch Smart Camera app and the cameras.

IMPROVEMENTS/BUG FIXES

Improvements to the user experience, e.g.

  • Improvement of the simulations when setting up new cameras
  • Several settings screens have been rearranged for better legibility
  • Expanded information in the app help menu for integrating the Eyes outdoor camera II into your Bosch Smart Home system

  • The update includes new and optimized functions as well as bug fixes for an even better experience with the Bosch Smart Camera app and the cameras.
  • From this release, the Bosch Smart Camera app requires iOS 15.5.
  • Revision of the data protection information will be rolled out with the app update.
  • The following points in the data protection information have been revised:
    • We use Firebase crashlytic's to improve app stable. This tool collections usage and device data, which does not allow any assignment to your person (see section 3. “collection, processing and use of personal data” under “Use of analysis tools/ personalisation”).

SMART Camera android app

The following version of the Bosch Smart Camera - Android app is issued:

  • 2.12.0

Notes on availability:

  • The update for the Bosch Smart Camera - Android app will be issued from 13.05.2026.
  • The update for the Bosch Smart Camera - Android app will be available to all customers from 19.05.2025.
  • This update is only provided for devices with Android 8.0 and higher.

SMART VIDEO iOS app

The following version of the Bosch Smart Camera - iOS app is issued:

  • 2.12.0

Notes on availability:

  • Update for the Bosch Smart Camera – iOS app will be issued as an automatic app update from 13.05.2026.
  • The update for the Bosch Smart Camera - iOS app will be available to all customers from 13.05.2026 as a manual update.
  • The update for the Bosch Smart Camera - iOS app will be available to all customers from 19.05.2026 as an automatic app update.
  • This update is only provided for devices with iOS 15.5 and higher.

The following versions of the Bosch Smart Camera firmware are issued from 19.05.2026.

  • GN2 camera models (Eyes outdoor camera II and Eyes outdoor camera II) version:9.40.102
