Software update information

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THIS UPDATE

This update contains an essential renewal of our security certificates and is mandatory for the continued use of your system.

Please ensure that you install this update by August 12, 2025.

For product and data security reasons (according to the terms of use section "Updates"), the update will be automatically rolled out to all systems that have not yet installed it starting August 12.

Without this update, your app or integrated cameras will no longer be able to establish a secure connection to your Smart Home Controller starting August 17, 2025. This means that controlling the system will no longer be possible.

NEW FUNCTIONS

Light/shutter control II
There are now even more options for configuring links between key presses and the switching of the output of the light/shutter control II.
In light mode, in addition to the previous options \"linked\" or \"unlinked\", you can now unlink only the long press or only the short press.
Previously, it was not possible to unlink in shade mode for safety reasons, i.e. to ensure that operation was possible even in the event of a fire. The long key press can now be unlinked so that you can trigger automations or other actions (see \"Additional key assignment\") without moving the shutters (e.g. light on/off). The short key press is retained to ensure the necessary safety.

This feature is only available when the light/shutter control II is used with a pushbutton (not a rocker switch) and the latest firmware is installed.

New firmware versions have been added for various Ledvance lamps:

• Version 01056400 for dimmable and adjustable colour temperature lamps with the following model name:
  * A60 DIM Z3
  * A60 TW Z3
  * B40 DIM Z3
  * B40 TW Z3
  * PAR16 DIM Z3
  * PAR16 TW Z3
  * Panel TW Z3
  * Tibea TW Z3

• Version 1066400 for colour-changing lamps with the following model name:
  * CLA60 RGBW Z3
  * Flex RGBW Z3
  * Gardenpole Mini RGBW Z3
  * Gardenpole RGBW Z3
  * Outdoor FLEX RGBW Z3
  * PAR16 RGBW Z3

Smart plug

• Improved display of power consumption values on the favourites page and device details page of all smart plugs. Values below 1000 W(h) are now displayed more precisely, e.g. 853 W instead of 0.9 kW.

Security+

• Minor optimisations of the alarm screen for better usability – especially for tablets and smaller smartphones
• The settings for the more sensitive sensors in the break-in and fire action plans are now available under \"Advanced Settings\" – including intelligent audio analysis
• Security+ is now also accessible in the \"Services\" area

BUG FIXES

Smart Home controller II / Matter

• In some cases, when the Matter partner feature was turned on, software updates for the controller could not be installed. This issue has been resolved.

Radiator thermostat II

• We fixed an issue that prevented the schedule from synchronising correctly.

Android app

• Presence simulation: With certain configurations, the \"Preview\" button was not displayed. This issue has been resolved.
• When you activate the notification for open windows and doors, a note with additional information is now displayed again.
• Various fixes for edge-to-edge display problems.

IOS app

• When the app was opened, a black screen occurred in rare cases after the app had previously been completely closed. This issue has been resolved.

Small bugs and common causes of crashes have been fixed.

Smart Home controller

The following versions are issued for the Smart Home controller:

Notes on availability:

• The update for the Smart Home controller will be issued from 17 July 2025.
• The update for the Smart Home controller is expected to be available to all customers from 18 July 2025.

Smart Home Android app

The following version of the Smart Home Android app is issued:

Notes on availability:

• The update for the Android Smart Home app is expected to be issued from 25 July 2025.
• The update for the Android Smart Home app is expected to be available to all customers from 1 August 2025.

Smart Home iOS app

The following version of the Smart Home iOS app is issued:
