NEW FUNCTIONS

Home+ now also available for Android.

New service: Home+ bundles three extras into one package:

• Central multi-system control of up to three Bosch Smart Home systems in one app – at home and when you are out. (Notice: each controller must be set up separately in its relevant home network).
• Intelligent audio analysis of the Eyes outdoor camera II: detects breaking glass and alarms from conventional smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
• Expanded cloud storage for Bosch Smart Home cameras: Longer storage period, more clips and flexible clip lengths.

IMPROVEMENTS

Security+ – exclusive offers

More flexibility when redefining Security+ vouchers: Customers who have purchased a Security+ voucher can now exchange their voucher code and the free 2-month Security+ service even before they have set up their controller.

Alarm system service / Audio+

If you have configured active sirens for the break-in alarm, the Audio+ detection of your indoor camera II will be intelligently paused during the alarm to prevent the siren sound being interpreted as a smoke alarm. Audio+ is reactivated automatically after the alarm has been switched off or after around 5 minutes.

Room thermostat II / Room thermostat II 230 V

• Option to change the brightness setting of the device display using automations.
• Option to deactivate the humidity warning via the device’s LEDs.
• Option to activate limescale protection (only Room thermostat II 230 V).

New firmware

• Universal switch II: A rare bug has been resolved where the device did not react to buttons being pressed after an incorrect code was entered.

Android app

• Different symbols and a name can be assigned to the Smart Home controller under “More” > “My Smart Home Systems”.
• Scenario widgets are a little larger and optionally show the Home symbol if multiple Smart Home controller are connected.
• From Android 16, push notifications display large symbols with a consistent color system.
• Smaller design tampering with the main screen.

BUG FIXES

• iOS app
  • It could happen that the iOS app lost the connection to the Smart Home controller after a change to the software activation date. This issue has been resolved.
  • A bug has been resolved which, in certain configurations, prevents the deletion of an automation trigger which has already been set.
  • A bug which caused the display of the room temperature in the favorites on tablets was sometimes not shown correctly has been resolved.
  • Bug fixes and improvements to the multi-system control.
• Smart lamps
  • A bug which could, in rare cases, be the brightness of a previously switched off smart lamp has not been transferred correctly if brightness and color were set at the same time (e.g. via scenario or automation).
• Room light
  • A bug which in rare cases did not match the actual state of the individual lights has been resolved.
• Alarm system/ Universal switch II
  • An error which caused the Universal switch II to activate/deactivate the alarm system was no longer working.
• Smart Home controller / Smart Home controller II
  • A bug which prevents data migration from the Smart Home controller to the Smart Home controller II in certain configurations has been resolved.
• Light/shutter control II (used as Shutter control)
  • The setting for the delay for raising and lowering the shutter was not always saved correctly when the device was initially configured. This issue has now been resolved.
• Fixing of common causes of crashes.

Notes on availability:

• The update for the Smart Home controller will be issued from 17.02.2026.
• The update for the Smart Home controller is expected to be available to all customers from 24.02.2026.

Smart Home android app

The following version of the Smart Home android app is issued:

Notes on availability:

• This time, the Android app will be issued stuttered over two weeks. This is due to comprehensive adjustments to central system components.
• The update for the android Smart Home app is expected to be issued from 25.02.2026.
• The update for the android Smart Home app is expected to be available to all customers from 09.03.2026.

Smart Home iOS app

The following version of the Smart Home iOS app is issued:

• 10.32.0 (9554)

Notes on availability:

• The update for the iOS Smart Home app is expected to be issued as an automatic app update from 25.02.2026.
• The update for the iOS Smart Home app is expected to be available to all customers as a manual update from 25.02.2026.
• The update for the iOS Smart Home app will be available to all customers from 03.03.2026 as an automatic app update.
