NEW FUNCTIONS

Home+

The upgrade for smart home has been expanded to include two new functions:

• Optimized heat allocation
  With the automatic hydronic calibration of the smart radiator thermostat II [+M], heating problems such as rooms that are too cold or overheated are a thing of the past. This function can help you to use energy better and ensures an even feel-good climate throughout your home.
  
• quires optimized heating
  If a Bosch or Buderus heat pump is connected to the Bosch Smart Home thermostats, the heating system works in a more forward-looking manner and only produces heat when it is really needed.
  

automations

• For push notifications in automations, you can now select the winners. You can therefore decide whether a notification should be sent to all connected devices as before or only to specific smartphones and tablets. This ensures that the right people are always informed.
• Automations can now call other automations in order to define complex processes or in order to reuse automations.

Universal switch / Universal switch II and smart Actuators

• Statuses can now be controlled directly using the buttons on the Universal switch .
• The “additional button assignment” can also be used for Dimmer, Light/shutter control II and Relay .

Eyes outdoor camera II and Eyes outdoor camera II in the alarm system

The Eyes indoor camera II and the Eyes outdoor camera II can now be used as acoustic (siren) and visual (light) alarms for the alarm system. If the cameras are configured as sensors, their integrated siren and/or light will be activated in the event of an alarm. When the alarm system is deactivated, the cameras, like other sensors, are switched off again.

Eyes outdoor camera II alarm reminder

The lamps of the Eyes outdoor camera II can now be used in the alarm system as an alarm reminder. If you forget to deactivate the alarm system, the camera lights flash to avoid false alarms.

IMPROVEMENTS

apps

• Information such as MAC address of the Smart Home controller, Zigbee EUI-64 address, version number, etc. can now be copyed to the clipboard at various places in the app with a click.
• Texts under “More” > “System” > “Notifications” have been adapted to provide greater clearness.

iOS

The app user interface has been updated and adapted to the Apple Lid glass design. This includes revised simulations, new symbols and an improved appearance of navigation bar, buttons and list.

• Further adjustments:
  • Keyboard input: The on-screen smartphone is now automatically closed if you type outside an active text field.
  • Scenarios: scrolling in reports has been optimized to ensure a seamless display.
  • Device management: The wizards for setting up and moving smart home devices have been revised to simplify the process.

New firmware

• Radiator thermostat II (3.08.03): The value for the valve opening when the battery is very low was reduced to 5% to prevent overheating when the battery is flat and to still guarantee frost protection.
• Radiator thermostat II [+M] (1.03.09): The value for the valve opening when the battery is very low was reduced to 5% to prevent overheating when the batteries are completely empty and still provide frost protection .
• Room thermostat II 230 V (0.3.9): Bug fix: The decalcification protection is now also active in heating break/Off mode.

BUG FIXES

• Motion detector II [+M]
  An error in the “Motion light” service has been rectified which could prevent the light from being activated again by motion immediately after it was automatically switched off
• Matter Bridge
  
  • The Matter Bridge connection could be lost due to reacting to or updating the Smart Home controller. This issue has been resolved.
  • A problem with the Matter Bridge for Apple Home has been resolved where certain characters in the device name led to problems with Apple Home.
  • Thestability of the Matter Bridge during the cold start process has been increased in order to prevent a potential functional failure.

• Android
  • The upper tool bar on the home screen was not automated when scrolling, and as a result, the content at the bottom was not completely visible. This issue has been resolved.
  • Missing Security+ and camera information on alarm screens has been corrected.
  • Some device details were not displayed under certain requirements. This issue has been resolved.
  • Incorrect display of selected options in automations has been resolved.
  • An error has been resolved which could lead to a connection break in the app after a software update carried out via remote access.

• heating systems
  • A problem with the temperature control for heating systems via MB LANi / iCom / BM200 has been resolved. The SHC update also fixes the problems that occur in the apps when accessing heating circuits.

  • An error which could cancel the restoring of a back-up of the Smart Home controller has been resolved.
  • Various minor text adjustments and language adjustments have been made.
  • General fixing of common causes of crashes

Smart Home android app

• From this release, the Bosch Smart Home supports full Android 16.

Smart Home iOS app
