Please note: In Germany, filming or photographing public areas, private property or natural persons requires the explicit consent of the party concerned. This also applies to your visitors, who must be informed about the video surveillance and should agree to it.

What can I do if the outdoor camera light turns on too late?
If the camera is installed in an anteroom at the end of a climbing staircase, the vertical surveillance angle of almost 80° (about 40° down/up) may not be sufficient to detect movement in time. When it comes to switching on the light, we recommend three possible solutions: set the sensitivity of the motion detector to "high" create rules for the lighting so that it is activated on a time-controlled basis have the light activated at twilight rather than at a specific time. With this setting, the ambience light would illuminate the staircase and, if there was movement, the front light would come on and provide even more brightness.

The duration of lighting when motion is detected can be controlled via the app.Under Settings -> Lighting - Motion light. Currently selectable are 30 seconds, 1 minute and 5 minutes.
