2. Please check whether the batteries are inserted correctly. If the batteries are inserted correctly, the LED on the front briefly lights up.
3. Perform a reset before reinstalling. To do this, open the battery cover and press the button on the front while reinserting the batteries until the LED of the Universal switch flashes orange. Release briefly and press the button again until the LED lights up green. Then follow the connection instructions again.

The Universal switches from Bosch Smart Home expand the possibilities for controlling your Smart Home system. At the touch of a button, you trigger scenarios and operate selected devices – as an uncomplicated alternative to control with your smartphone.
The unobtrusive switches can be assigned up to four different, freely selectable functions and can be operated by all residents and guests of your Smart Home, without a smartphone or tablet. This simplifies recurring processes. Mount the Universal switch, for example, next to the door and trigger the "Leave home" scenario with a short click. Or choose the portable Universal switch Flex if you move around the house a lot. You can take it from room to room and, for example, lower your shutters to a previously set height from any room.
Further information can be found on the corresponding product page of our webshop. Please follow thisLink.
Our Universal switches come with a 4-way assignable button (standard on the market is a 2-way button). This enables convenient operation of the Smart Home as an alternative to the smartphone for everyone, including household members without a smartphone (children / elderly people).
Custom scenarios (e.g. Coming Home / Leaving Home) can be assigned to the buttons. All Bosch Smart Home products are integrated into the Scenario Manager and are therefore accessible via the Universal switches. Scenarios can be preconfigured or individually created and assigned to the switch.
Switching services or an individual product can also be assigned directly to the Universal switch. For example, the alarm system or the alarm service can be activated / deactivated or the light can be switched on / off (Philips Hue).
