In the twinkling of an eye – this is how everybody can intuitively control the Smart Home
Like every Wednesday, grandma comes over to prepare lunch with you for the kids. But unfortunately you will have to stay in the office a little longer today. No problem.
With a few twists of your Twist remote control, your mother can easily deactivate the alarm system of your Smart Home.
The start screen disappears and then informs her about all relevant system statuses at a glance. If grandma is too cold, she can also use the functions of the Twist to regulate the temperature or switch on the light in the kitchen – with no need of a smartphone. This also works just fine without your help.
Let’s Twist – Smart Home Control via keystroke and rotary movements
Like every weekend, the house is packed. On Saturday, your friends come to visit with their children and on Sunday morning, your parents-in-law come over for brunch. The functions of your Smart Home impress everyone. Luckily, your Twist offers a unique user concept without app access. This way, also your children, grandparents or guests can easily operate the Twist using the four buttons or a slight left or right turn.
Lightly pressing the left or right control button switches between the different functions, products or scenarios. Pressing up or down changes the current status of the selected function. If your device is attached to the magnetic wall mount, the extra twist is possible: Turning it slightly to the left or right switches between the different functions.
Simple and yet secure: Set your individual alarm deactivation code
Thanks to the Twist, you no longer need your smartphone to deactivate your alarm system. Instead, just a few movements on the Twist are already enough.
To do this, you need to set your individual security code beforehand: Determine a sequence of 4-10 entries on the Twist through which you want to deactivate your alarm system in the future.
For example:
Turn to the right – 2 keystrokes on the left – 2 turns to the left – keystroke on the right – and your alarm system is switched off.
This way, your children or your housekeeper can also deactivate your alarm system without the app.
Configuration of your Twist
With the Twist you can theoretically control all Smart Home products and trigger scenarios.
What you control in which way and how you want it to be displayed can be easily defined in the app:
Using drag and drop, you can add, delete or change the order of up to 32 functions individually.
This way you can arrange the assignment and display of the Twist according to your wishes and requirements.
