If you have a compatible Ledvance product, please proceed as follows:

Open the Bosch Smart Home app.

Add a new device via the "+".

Open the "Smart Lamp" item.

Now follow the instructions in the app.

You can turn your Ledvance products on and off and trigger scenarios using the Bosch Smart Home Twist or Bosch Smart Home Universal switches.

You can integrate the majority of all Ledvance products of the Smart+ family into the Bosch Smart Home System. The prerequisite is that the devices operate on the ZigBee 3.0 radio protocol. You do not need an additional controller or bridge to integrate the Ledvance products. The integration runs via the Bosch Smart Home controller. A detailed list of all compatible products can be found athere.

After you have integrated the Ledvance products into your Bosch smart home system, you can include the Ledvance products into scenarios, automations as well as other services such as presence simulation, alarm system as well as motion light.

In case of burglar alarm Ledvance lamps, which are capable of reproducing colored light, flash red. In case of a smoke alarm, Ledvance lamps light up yellow. In case of a water alarm, they light up blue.

Please check first if the selected products are able to display the desired color.

Ledvance products with the label"Dimmable"can change brightness, Ledvance products with the label"Tunable White"can additionally set different color temperatures and Ledvance products with the add-on"Multicolor"additionally set RGBW.

To reset dimmable Ledvance products to factory default, turn the lamps ON for five seconds and OFF for five seconds in succession. After switching on again, the lamp dims up and down three times for confirmation and can then be integrated into a compatible smart home system again.

Check that the compatible Ledvance products have a working power supply and are switched on. If applicable, use Ledvance products with Bosch Smart Home Light control flush-mounted. Check that this is switched on. Only when the power is on can the Ledvance product receive commands.

If power is present, disconnect the affected Ledvance product from the power supply for 30 seconds. Then restore the power supply. It may take up to three minutes for the Ledvance product to reconnect to the Bosch smart home system.

Yes, it is possible to control compatible Ledvance products using a light switch. However, it is not possible to turn on the Ledvance lamps via Bosch Smart Home app when the light switch is set to "Off".

Even though power outages are relatively rare in Central Europe, precautions have been taken at this point. As soon as the power supply is restored after a power failure, the Ledvance products are set to their default settings.

To reset Ledvance products which have the addition RGBW in their product description, i.e. lamps which can also display colors, please proceed as follows:

Switch the Ledvance product on five times in succession for five seconds each time and off for five seconds. After switching on again, the lamp flashes blue, green and red for confirmation and can then be integrated into the Bosch Smart Home System again.

The basic setting of compatible Ledvance products is equal to the last used setting of the respective lamps, which includes color and color temperature in addition to brightness. To save the last used setting, the lamp must be switched on for 30 seconds in the respective setting.

Yes, you can use Ledvance products to extend the signal from Bosch Smart Home products that use ZigBee 3.0. These are currently the Motion detector, the Twist as well as the Bosch Smart Home Twinguard and the Outdoor siren. Please note: A range extension is only given as long as the Ledvance products are not de-energized (e.g. by switching off the light switch).

No, unfortunately it is not possible to dim compatible Ledvance products using a conventional Dimmer. To change the brightness of the lamps, the Bosch Smart Home app is required.

The user can create and control scenarios/routines within the partners (Alexa/Google) to turn on/off the LEDVANCE smart light, adjust the brightness, color temperature and color.

Voice control for Ledvance products via Apple Homekit or Siri is currently not possible.
